Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

MintGro ("we", "us", "our") is operated by MintGro, based in India. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website (mintgro.com), the MintGro web application and the MintGro Android app (together, the "Services"), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

2. Information we collect

  • Account information — name, work email, phone number, company name and password. Passwords are stored only as a one-way hash; we never see or store them in readable form.
  • Business data — the customers, records, invoices, files and other content you or your team enter into the platform. This belongs to your company; see Section 5.
  • Demo and contact requests — name, work email, company name, phone number and your message, when you fill in a form on our website.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser and device type, operating system, pages and features used, and performance and error information.
  • Connected social accounts — if your company connects a Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X or Google Business Profile account to schedule posts, we store the access tokens those platforms issue (encrypted) and the posts and images you schedule.
  • Communications — messages you send us by email, phone or through our forms.

Android app. The Android app gives you access to the same MintGro platform and collects the same information described above. If the app asks for a device permission (for example camera, files or notifications), it is used only for the feature you are using at the time, and you can withdraw it at any time in your device's settings.

3. How we use it

We use this information to provide, secure and improve the Services; to understand how they are used; to respond to support and sales enquiries; to send account, security, billing and service communications; and (only where you have opted in) to send marketing updates. We do not sell your personal data.

4. Third-party services

We use the following service providers to run the Services. Each receives only the data it needs for its purpose:

  • DigitalOcean — hosting, database and file storage (Bangalore, India).
  • Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS and network security.
  • Maileroo — sending email, including account and notification emails and the email campaigns your company sends.
  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager — website analytics on mintgro.com.
  • PostHog — product analytics on our website and in the app.
  • New Relic — performance and error monitoring.
  • Anthropic — optional AI suggestions on job cards. When you request a suggestion, the job's problem description, its category and similar past jobs from your own company are sent to generate it.
  • Meta, LinkedIn, X and Google — only if your company connects its accounts to publish social posts. The text and images of those posts are sent to the platform you choose, under your own account.

Some of these providers process data outside India. Where they do, we rely on their contractual commitments to protect it.

5. Your business data

Data you or your team enter into MintGro belongs to your company, which decides how it is used. We process it only to provide the Services to you. You can export your records (for example, as CSV) and request deletion at any time; see Section 8.

6. Security

  • Each company's data is kept separate from every other company's.
  • Access inside a company is controlled by role-based permissions.
  • All traffic is encrypted in transit (HTTPS), and data is stored with a hosting provider that encrypts it at rest.
  • Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes.
  • Connected social account tokens are additionally encrypted by us.
  • Private files, such as vendor documents and job card attachments, are available only through short-lived, permission-checked links.
  • Key actions are recorded in an audit log.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal data, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by applicable law.

7. How long we keep data

  • Account and business data is kept for as long as your account is active.
  • Records moved to the Trash are permanently deleted, along with their attached files, after 90 days.
  • Audit log entries are kept for up to one year.
  • Demo and contact requests are kept until you ask us to delete them.
  • After deletion, residual copies may remain in our hosting provider's automated backups for a short period until they expire.

8. Deleting your account and data

To delete your MintGro account, email info@mintgro.com from the email address registered to your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". Tell us whether you want to delete:

  • Your personal user account — your login and profile. Records you created for your company stay with your company.
  • Your company's entire workspace — all users and all business data. Only the company's owner or an administrator can request this.

We will verify your identity, confirm the request and complete the deletion within 30 days. We may keep limited information where the law requires us to, or to resolve a dispute, and only for as long as needed. Deletion is permanent, so export anything you must keep, such as GST invoices you are legally required to retain, before you request it.

The same process applies to the Android app. Uninstalling the app does not delete your account. If you only want to remove a team member, a company administrator can do that from the app's team settings.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, and analytics tools (Google Analytics and PostHog) that use cookies or similar storage to understand how the Services are used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but blocking essential cookies will sign you out. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

10. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have the right to access, correct, update or delete your personal data, to withdraw consent you have given, and to raise a grievance with us. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@mintgro.com.

11. Children

The Services are built for businesses and are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will tell you about material changes by email or an in-product notice before they take effect, and update the date at the top of this page.
